オープニング・フォーラム テーマ「熊も抱きしめる」
現在、世界中で分断と排外主義がはびこっています。さらに人間の営為による環境破壊が進み、自然界への影響も大きくなっています。日本では熊と人間の共存がクリティカルな問題としてあります。熊をひとつのメタファーとして、自分とは異なるものをどう抱きしめられるのか、京都文学レジデンシーに集った人々が語り合います。
Opening Form Theme “Embraced by Bears”
Today’s world in crisis—it’s divided, exclusionism is everywhere, and human activities accelerate environmental deterioration, revealing its consequences. One critical issue in Japan now is the problem of coexistence between humans and wild bears. What if we see a bear as a metaphor—how can we embrace others who are different from ourselves? The fellow writers at Kyoto Writers Residency 04 will discuss “bears” of our life today.
